The Dragon Riders

A fantasy adventure that teaches writing and STEM for kids in 2nd and 3rd grade. The legendary Dragon Riders need new recruits who can work together to defend the kingdom and fly their dragons to the rescue of those in need. Along the way, they learn the fundamentals of storytelling, contribute to the storyline with their own ideas and face challenging puzzles and riddles. This program focuses on creating narratives with a clear beginning, middle and resolution that provide context and a distinct point of view. Students will also use multiplication, division and measurements to overcome challenges within the adventure.

Dog Day After School

EDventure Quest presents Dog Day After School, an after school story adventure class for grades 3 through 5. A group of dogs has been dognapped by a pharmaceutical company. Experimentation has turned these precocious pets into superpowered pooches. After growing tired of being poked and prodded, they decide to make a break for it and take their fate into their own paws. What happens next is up to you!

What kind of dog are you? What is your superpower? Where is your dog determined to go? Do you have an owner to get home to, a sister locked up in a shelter or a distant wolf relative living in the mountains? Your ideas and decisions drive the story. If you plan on making it to the end, you’ll have to put your imagination into high gear.

This is a creative writing class unlike any other — a group novel-writing role-play adventure where kids decide where the story goes next. They will learn how to tell and write a compelling narrative with motivated characters, detailed settings and well-constructed plots. This class is for kids who enjoy fantasy, Dungeons & Dragons, making up stories and of course, dogs.

A science fiction space adventure that teaches STEM to students in grades K-2. Kids take on the role of space explorers, helping aliens and robots aboard a space station. They’ll have to weigh space suits, count credit cubes, measure carbon crystals and identify differently-shaped asteroids. Most importantly, they’ll have to work together to discover who is trying to sabotage the space station!

The Forgotten City

A Dungeons & Dragons style ELA adventure for 3rd grade and up. Kids take on the role of wizards and warriors as they try to discover the mysteries hidden within an ancient buried city. The secrets they uncover not only save the day but lead to a comprehensive understanding of the core elements of storytelling. This program teaches advanced writing principles such as story structure, conflict, character development, dialogue, exposition and plot. They also learn and practice public and persuasive speaking.
